YES Ltd introduces new Ricoma SWD Series embroidery machine

Ricoma SWD Series single-head

The all new Ricoma SWD Series single-head is the latest embroidery machine to join Your Embroidery Services Ltd’s ever-growing product portfolio.

Where size meets versatility and speed meets precision, the new SWD Series is designed for embroidery beginners, experts, hobbyists, and home-based entrepreneurs alike. Featuring a wide body and high-clearance, the innovative and intuitive single-head possesses all the main industry features on one machine.

With 15 needles and a maximum speed of 1,000 stitches per minute, this networkable and WiFi capable system is perfect for embroidering caps – with its 270° wide cap angle system – and garments, personalising bags and accessories, and undertaking smaller projects too, such as sleeves collars and wallets.

John-Paul Burton, sales director, said: “The SWD series boasts one of, if not the, widest embroidery area on any machine and the optional extended table allows users to extend their creative reach providing 1.2m x 500mm of embroidery space. This futuristic single-head provides ample room for larger and bulk areas, allowing the user to embroider coats, beach towels, and even luggage.”

Powered by servo motors, the SWD wide-field tubular system is thought to consume the least amount of power in the industry and is equipped to run around the clock. The robust high-speed motor moves the pantograph smoothly, ensuring low noise, minimised vibration, and guaranteed quality and precision with every stitch. While its redesigned 8in high-definition touch screen panel offers automatic colour change, built in camera function and pre-sew design tracing.

With a memory capacity of 20 million stitches or 200 designs and a maximum standard embroidery area of 800×500 mm, the SWD series provides automatic thread trimming, automatic memory retention and thread break detection.
