Wild Thang serve up eighth year of tennis support

Liverpool-based Wild Thang has sponsored The Hope University International Tennis Tournament for the eighth consecutive year, becoming tournament’s longest standing supporter. The tournament took place in June.photo

Wild Thang md, Andrew Dwerryhouse, said: “Each year I look at the finances and say to myself can we afford to be involved and every year I remind myself can I afford not? This literally is Liverpool’s foremost summer sporting event.

“This year was especially good for a number of reasons. The new venue was an inspired choice, given the long association with tennis and great transport links.

“When are you going to get another opportunity to see and have an association with such tennis icons as the former 2013 ladies’ Wimbledon champion, Marion Bartoli, along with ticking so many social boxes with the tournament currently organising and operating one of the North West’s largest children’s tennis program through the Liverpool Tennis Foundation for which we sponsor the uniform.

“We are a perfect match giving Wild Thang the opportunity to showcase its products and services across the region, but it’s also a genuinely great example of like-minded companies working together.”

All branding for the tournament was designed and produced by Wild Thang with ACE limited edition merchandise and clothing made available throughout the tournament and online, including the programme, branded T shirts, giant tennis balls, caps and more.
