William Brookes School in Much Wenlock, Shropshire comes from a fine heritage. The comprehensive school was founded to commemorate surgeon and botanist William Brookes, who was the inspiration behind the modern Olympic Games and resided in the same small market town. As a result they have a strong Olympic tradition carried through all that they do, both academically and on the sports pitch, to be the best you can be. To ensure they promote this image of dedication and professionalism the school recently invested in a custom GForce netball shirt from Gymphlex.

William Brookes School has, of recent times, put in a sterling performance on the pitch. Their netball team has enjoyed a very successful season, and recently finished third in the County League. Head of PE, Carol Jardine said: “I have a theory that you can look at a team and accurately predict how they are going to perform before they have even touched a ball. The look of the team is of critical importance, and our girls now have a competitive edge by turning up in a professional kit. The new GForce shirt is perfect for us, the girls love it and I am very happy with the way our team now looks.”

William Brookes School belong to an international network of Coubertin Schools, which promote education through Olympian values. They selected a netball shirt in the schools colours of sky blue and navy, with Velcro tabs and removable position bibs.

GForce from Gymphlex represents a cost effective way to create a professional identity. In the case of William Brookes this was selecting a custom shirt, but GForce has an extensive range of garments including hoodies, fleeces, skorts, dresses and tracksuits, all perfect for a netball team.
