The next 12 months will see TheMagicTouch continue to introduce more innovative transfer solutions, offering new marketing opportunities for its customers.

The company pioneered and developed the original in affordable dark garment full colour transfer with the WoW image transfer process and will again introduce some real game changing applications incorporating the revolutionary white toner-based printer technology.

Jim Nicol, managing director, commented: “We all look for new ways to grow our businesses while at the same time evaluating any element of risk on capital investments, especially where technology is concerned. With the thousands of white toner installations worldwide using our technology, in association with OKi printers, this offers an affordable digital option with massive marketing potential, with no risk.”

The TMT/OKi 711WT printer with its unique SpaceControl software is compatible with all TheMagicTouch transfer papers assisting users to consider increasing the range of products and services to their existing customers. Mr Nicol added: “The same printer for transfers to decorate polyester, cotton, performance fabrics and even leather is the same printer for mugs, metal, signs, tattoos, notebooks, bottles and indeed over 50 other promotional items, all of which offer the marketing advantage of being able to produce a one-off sample for customer evaluation.”

The WoW process continues to impress those involved in the decoration of sports bags and holdalls. The WoW transfer prints on almost any holdall/bag fabric regardless of colour and involves no cutting or weeding. The new XL paper size increases the range of bags that can now be decorated.

The recently introduced SatinMugs, now available in eight colours, are regarded as possibly the most significant innovation to the decoration of promotional mugs for many years. Individual personalisation and short-run production of ceramic mugs has until now been restricted to white coated mugs. However, the market for specific colours especially black opens up many new markets. Printable mug boxes are also available to promote this personalised concept and add value. The promotional mug still remains one the world’s most used promotional product and has now been awarded a new lease of life.
