The power of three

As this year continues to see the new working partnership between Resolute DTG, TheMagicTouch UK and Ricoh become established, Resolute continues to focus on its own ‘Power of Three’.

Resolute prides itself on offering a complete package to direct to garment users, not only supplying equipment but also the ongoing consumables required, and the all-important training and technical support needed.

Equipment

The new Ricoh machines supplied by Resolute are raising the bar for DTG across the UK and Europe.

The new Ricoh Ri 6000 and Ricoh Ri 3000 are incredibly fast with Ricoh quoting 27 seconds for an A3 print. A recent video from Resolute testing shows a white with CMYK ink print on a dark shirt completing in just 1:38 using a higher quality print mode than most people would require for normal printing.

These machines are built with industrial stainless steel print heads, covered by a Ricoh warranty. Other working components such as the capping station are now serviceable parts cutting down on consumable maintenance costs.

Both the Ri 6000 and Ri 3000 sit on Ethernet networks, this makes for blisteringly fast file transfer speeds. Each machine has fully automated white ink circulation and auto cleaning cycles when needed. They have laser controlled self-calibrated platen height control, reducing the risk of head strikes from garment incorrectly loaded.

A wide range of garment platens are also available including, sleeve, cap, youth, polo and pocket. The large amount of space between zero height and print height means additional shirt pallets are loaded on top of the standard platen, this allows for fast turnaround when swapping pallet sizes. This means custom pallets can also be used to create any odd shaped pallets required for a specific application or garment.

Also in the Resolute range is the 1800z range of UV printers. Now with a larger print area these are available with two specifically developed UV inks, IR2 for ADA compliant Braille signage and the F6T for hard and flexible substrates.

The F6T ink is virtually odourless and flexible making it more user friendly and great for printing onto cotton, polyester and even leather jackets.

The 1800z range also prints onto cylindrical items making it ideal for printing onto reusable water bottles, or promotional glass bottles. The new 1800z models also print 30% faster than the MVP range.

When housed in its specially designed flight case these UV printers are regularly used for mobile printing multi-use water bottles and other promotional items at, airports, shopping centres, festivals and the UK’s annual famous tennis tournament.

Consumables

Resolute DTG offers the widest range of genuine DTG ink and consumable products in Europe.

The company has recently added the DuPont P6000 range for industrial print heads alongside its own Resolute ink, Camtex and the popular Image Armor inks for E Series, F Series and B Series.

This means you don’t have to have purchased your machine from Resolute’s range to benefit from the consumables it supplies. A range of pre-treatments and cleaning products are also available, and the team is always on hand to advise on which products to use to achieve fantastic results.

Customer support

Resolute’s focus has always been on customer support and training. So many of the early issues in the DTG industry were down to a lack of experience. MD Colin Marsh has years of experience in the printing industry and especially in inkjet and has put this to good use supporting the industry as it grows.

As well as experienced field engineers, Resolute offers telephone and remote login support.  Often a short phone call can resolve an issue, saving users from down time.
