With the easing of restrictions and the return of retail in the UK, memorable branding is arguably more important than ever. Shops, pubs and businesses must create a safe and comfortable environment for their customers and a big part of this is being able to easily identify members of staff when needed.
Heat transfer vinyl is a quick and cost-effective way to personalise T shirts, face masks and tote bags, making it ideal for the fast-paced retail and hospitality industries.
Both embroidery and DTG printing have their role to play in producing short runs, but so does heat pressed digital printed graphics. In fact, for smaller full colour logos on workwear or sportswear for instance, using this system is probably the quickest and cheapest way to produce them. With the comparatively low investment of a digital printer, such as the Roland BN20, plus heat press, graphics can be printed and applied to almost all types of textile garments with ease.
Now with the Image Flex Turbo 4036, a Poli-Tape film supplied in the UK through Doro Tape, this process is even speedier and cheaper to produce.
Turbo Print offers a high print resolution with a matt finish and a pleasant soft textile touch. This film is suitable for transfer to textiles such as cotton, polyester, uncoated nylon, plus polyester/ cotton and polyester/ acrylic. In addition, its special top coating offers excellent washing-resistance.
What’s really special about Turbo Print is the speed and temperature of heat pressing. At a temperature of 160oC, pressing time is only three seconds. This cuts down dramatically on the application time, improving both productivity and profitability. Plus, the Turbo Print can be applied at a press temperature as low as 130oC; ideal for use on delicate fabrics such as nylon. This makes the Turbo Print the perfect all-rounder for any garment decorator.
