The Outdoors Company climbs to new heights with bigger premises

At the beginning of the year, The Outdoors Company expanded it operations and moved into a bigger premises in Congleton.

The distributor’s former premises in Sandbach was home for the last five years, but by 2017 space was getting tight. The company’c co-founders Mark Dix and Paul Morley-Smith decided it was time to move to enable growth plans to be achieved.

The new premises offers The Outdoors Company more space and better facilities, along with a new showroom which showcases the full range of clothing, accessories and equipment.

A dedicated boardroom space now enables The Outdoors Company to invite its brand partners over to view and discuss a wider range of products, for corporatewear and workwear options, from their retail lines.

The Outdoors Company is also currently expanding its sales team, which will allow the distributor to provide more products to B2B customers in the UK and further afield. With a larger, stronger team, combined with a complete new integrated ordering/ invoicing system, The Outdoors Company is able to offer even better choice and levels of customer service.
