Innovation Schoolwear has history under its belt, supplying quality schoolwear to retailers for nearly 50 years. Still family-run, the business has been built through experience and customer feedback and is still expanding goals, product lines and customer base.
Just like the wearers of Innovation Schoolwear’s products learn and grow, so does the company. As the end of the year approaches Innovation has been busy taking forward orders during working hours and stock orders 24/7 through its user-friendly website.
While most are planning a break in December, Innovation Schoolwear is busier than ever. The company is moving back into a new, vast, 80,000sq ft purpose-built warehouse in London. Exciting times… and with lots of stock to fill and customers to impress: Innovation is ready to supply.
In January, the Innovation Schoolwear team is looking forward to their long overdue Printwear & Promotion LIVE! debut on stand A30. Innovation Schoolwear will be exhibiting items which can be embroidered and printed onto such as: sweatshirts, polo shirts, T shirts, blazers, reversible fleece jackets, knitwear, backpacks, bags, headwear and hi -vis vests. Time flies, and it’ll be January 21 before we know it. Come and visit, the team hopes to see you there.
What is new for 2018?
Innovation Schoolwear is staying fresh by adding the following colours to its existing lines: polo shirts in turquoise, senior silver label (slim fit) trousers in charcoal and boys purple label (skinny fit) trousers in charcoal.
In addition, Innovation is also introducing 10 new product lines for 2018 (with 40% of them made in the UK), all being smart, comfortable and durable garments for the whole year.
Layers are perfect for this time of year, so where better to start than with poly/cotton sweatshirts and sweatshirt cardigans in the Phoenix range. The sweatshirts are a soft, 300/310gsm weight, 65% cotton / 35% polyester mix with raglan sleeves, a taped back neck, ribbed neck, cuffs and welt and twin needle stitching for much-needed durability. The cardigans are of the same weight and composition but have ribbed cuffs and hem with two front pockets.
Innovation has expanded its polo shirt range to include a long sleeve polo shirt, suitable all year round but especially during these cold winter months. Made of a 65% polyester / 35% cotton blend, 200/210gsm heavyweight quality, they’re hard-wearing, with self-coloured buttons, ribbed cuffs and a taped neck. Twin needle stitching adds strength.
Just right for those whom short sleeves are too short, or long sleeves are, well, too long, the new 3/4 sleeve revere blouses are made of a 65% polyester / 35% cotton, easy care premium weight fabric. Features include an open neck collar, left breast pocket and self-coloured buttons (with a spare).
Every child needs to keep hydrated as they face the day learning and burning off energy. Say no to plastic waste by buying one of Innovation Schoolwear’s sturdy, BPA free and dishwasher safe water bottles. They feature a grip section to the middle for easy handling and a protective dust cap and screw top for easy refilling. For added convenience, they also fit the mesh pockets of both their backpacks.
Innovation Schoolwear is manufacturing 40% of its new lines in the UK which proves the company’s commitment to keeping UK businesses relevant on home soil. They are:
- The boys slim fit pull-on trousers makes dressing for little ones simpler. Complete with a Teflon stain resistant coating, they are plain fronted for a tailored fit, have a half elastic waist, two side pockets and are easy to pull on (mock fly).
- The girls skirts are 62% polyester / 33% viscose and 5% elastane, making them a soft stretch fabric that will give some give when they’re growing or playing. The A-line skirt has an internal adjustable waist for comfort and a small back vent, while the drop waist pleated skirt has the same waist, but with a side zip and four pleats on the front and back.
- The girls bib pinafores are made of polyester twill, have a fully lined bib, feature a wrap-over skirt with two buttons for fastening, sharp and stylish permanent knife pleats at the back – with a plain front.
- Lastly, Innovation’s girls PE skorts are lightweight and breathable, an essential for sports. The 100% polyester airtex skirt makes them breathable with the 95% cotton/ 5% elastane fabric pant adding security. Side vents add style and give.
