A busy three days for Innotex at The Print Show earlier this month demonstrated just how rapidly the textile decoration industry is expanding; with newcomers from traditional print sectors recognising the low barriers of entry offered by Innotex’s transfers and machinery.
On display were the company’s collection of textile transfers, including the multipurpose ‘Rapid Ink’ range of hot split transfers that can be applied in just four to six seconds, to a multitude of fabrics using any traditional heat press. These cost effective cut sheet transfers are a logical solution for medium to large production runs less suitable for sublimation or vinyl printing.
The star of the show was by far the MK1 InnoPrinter, Innotex’s flagship garment relabelling solution with a record number of machines sold on the exhibition floor.
Commercial director, Simon Holt, explained: “This was the third time we have exhibited at The Print Show and we’re always pleasantly surprised by the reception we receive from traditional print professionals that we wouldn’t typically associate with our market. Inexpensive sublimation printers and small format vinyl cutters have made it easier than ever for businesses to offer basic textile printing services to their existing customer base. Our Rapid Ink transfers are now seen as a progression on from these solutions, providing a cost effective way to print medium/ large quantities of garments at a low unit cost typically only achievable via direct screen printing.
“It’s really satisfying to see more and more people arriving at our exhibition stands already aware of the virtues of the InnoPrinter transfer presses, actively looking for ways to increase their productivity and grow their businesses.”
Next up for Innotex will be the Promo & Branding Shows in Belfast and Dublin on October 15 and 17 respectively, before the company debuts the InnoPrinter at the Impressions Expo in Long Beach, California in January.
