SOL’s and Joy Thai announce partnership

French promotional textiles company SOL’S has announced that it is partnering with made-to-order experts Joy Thai.

Each company has over 20 years’ experience in their field and this pairing will allow them to better meet their customer’s needs, offering a high-quality, responsive and cost-effective made-to-order service.

SOL’S brings to the table an offering of 346 customisable textile products, and a permanent stock of over 25 million items. Selling and distributing over 40 million items per year from their warehouse in Le Havre, France, SOL’S prides itself on stock availability and a quick turnaround and delivery of orders. The existing ready-made offering will now be complemented by a new specialist service, with fully customised made-to-order garments provided by Joy Thai.

Joy Thai’s new European venture will be headed up by Emmanuel Garcia, who has worked for the company for 17 years, in both Asia and Europe.

Mr Garcia said: “This new partnership marks an exciting new opportunity for Joy Thai. We have been following the evolution of SOL’S for many years with great interest and we believe that the merging of our expertise – and of our cultures – will result in a competitive made-to-order offering across Europe and internationally.”

To coincide with this new partnership, Joy Thai has opened a new European office in Paris. They also have offices in Dhaka in Bangladesh, Bangkok in Thailand, Fuzhou in China and a head office in Hong Kong.

General manager of SOL’S, Laurent Ostrowsky, added: “We continually strive to adapt according to market needs, and recognised the increasing demand for highly specialised, personalised textile products. This partnership will create a totally new product offering for our customers, reinforcing our positioning as a multi-specialist within the promotional textiles market.”

The companies exhibited for the first time together at PSI in Dusseldorf, Germany last month.
