Slick Stitch, one of the Europe’s largest garment decorators, will celebrate a full year of trading in its new premises next month.
The company purchased the new 120,000sq ft site in Wolverhampton in July 2015 and spent six months fully refurbishing the building, before relocating in January 2016.
Slick Stitch had reached the stage where it had outgrown its old 40,000sq ft premises. The building was restricting the company’s operating capabilities in all areas.
The move has meant that Slick Stitch has been able to reduce its average production lead time from seven days down to three. The company has also been able to stock more products for customers.
Slick Stitch now offers its customers a complete solution with conference, meeting and training facilities all under one roof.

And in addition to this move, the company has appointed Gurj Gidda to the position of commercial manager.
Mr Gidda joined the company in October 2016 and has a wealth of experience in the corporate, promotional and workwear sectors.
Speaking about the new premises he said: “We are now in a unique position, stock holding, decorating and dispatching millions of garments with an average order size of only two units.”
