Significant growth seen in soft signage and bespoke applications

GTC_81-1850 sportSince Sabur Ink Systems’ formation back in 1998, Dean Sanger, MD, says the company has seen a massive increase in applications using dye sublimation.

He adds: “Although our core business is still in the fashion and sportswear manufacturing sector we have seen significant growth in other markets including soft signage and bespoke applications.”

The new Roland RT-640 with its option of an eight colour ink configuration and Ergosoft RIP software lends itself to high end applications such as designer clothing and related products like footwear and bags.

Sabur’s best selling printer is the Roland XF-640 ‘The Beast’ and this robust printer is widely used in manufacturing due to its high speed printing capability without the loss of print quality.

Sabur has also converted a Roland XF-640 in to a direct to textile pigment printer named the ‘Diva’ with an eight colour ink set that gives absolutely stunning quality prints that are fixed in the fabric using heat and eliminating the need for washing or steam fixation.

Sabur is pleased to have in its supply portfolio products and machines from Roland, Kiian Digital and Klieverik to name but a few, all of which are available for viewing in its state-of-the-art show suite in Barnsley. Customers are welcome  to not only view the machines but are actively invited to use the machines to produce their own designs to ensure that they are 100% happy with their choice of machine before they place an order.
