L-R: Gavin Crane, Daniela Gould, Chris Mellor-Dolman, Ben Maiden, Lee Husband and Justin Moorhouse accept the award on behalf of Scruffs

Workwear brand Scruffs was awarded Workwear Brand of the Year and Boot Brand of the Year at the recent On The Tools Awards, as voted for by UK tradespeople.

Over the past 15 years, Scruffs has grown to become one of the leading workwear brands. At the heart of the proposition is a core range of head-to-toe workwear, focused on comfortable and durable clothing and safety footwear at the best price.

The Scruffs team was delighted to be among the finalists which were announced for the 2019 On The Tools Awards at a ceremony held at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on Friday, November 15.

Marketing manager at Scruffs, Deborah Hunt, said: “We were thrilled to win not one but two of the prestigious awards at the On The Tools Awards this year, beating some really stiff competition! This is the fourth year running that we have been awarded these two titles which means so much to us because they are voted for by tradespeople themselves – so we know that our products are really meeting the needs and expectations of our customers when put to the test across a broad range of trades.

“I’d like to congratulate our whole team – the product designers, category managers, the sales team, everyone – for the fantastic products we’ve created and continue to create, delivering head-to-toe comfort and exceptional value for money to our customers. We’ve got some exciting new products in the pipeline to be revealed soon too, so we hope to receive some more On The Tools awards next year!”

CEO of On The Tools, Lee Wilcox, said: “I’d like to offer huge congratulations to Scruffs for their double award win at this year’s event. The On The Tools Awards are voted for by the boots on the ground, and this year we received an incredible 20,000 votes overall.

“Winning not one, but two awards is a great story for the Scruff’s brand and their commitment to customer focus.”
