Sales/service engineer required by Amaya Sales UK

Due to another record year in sales of the Texjet Plus Advanced direct to garment printers and Melco EMT16 modular multi-head embroidery machines, Amaya Sales UK is actively looking to add to its customer support team.

The company is looking for an outgoing person that can communicate with customers at all levels. You would be expected to work directly with Amaya’s customers helping them extract the most from their equipment and improve on their production.

Specific duties:

  • Receive telephone and email queries from customers relating to issues on their equipment.
  • Visit customers to repair and service their equipment.
  • Install and train new customers.
  • Be capable of demonstrating the equipment in one of Amaya’s showrooms.
  • The position is field based covering the UK and Eire but ideally someone located in the Newark, Nottingham or Portsmouth, Hampshire areas would be preferred.

This is a good opportunity for someone in the industry that wants to progress into a semi sales role combined with their technical experience already gained.

Job requirement:

  • Minimum three years’ experience.
  • Some knowledge of electro/mechanical equipment.
  • Experience in problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills on the telephone and face to face.

This is a permanent position and the salary will be relative to experience. Full product training will be provided together with a company vehicle.
