Reaching new heights

CMYUK’s Demonstration and Training Centre

Large format printing is reaching new heights when it comes to speed, quality and production processes. Print companies are now, more than ever, choosing to expand into new textile, fabric and signage markets.

As the UK’s largest independent supplier of wide format digital printers, cutting equipment and materials, CMYUK has been keeping a close eye on moving trends and continues to supply the most prominent industry products to the sign and graphics market, as it has done for more than 15 years.

Its newly extended and refurbished Demonstration and Training Centre is the first of its kind in the UK and is home to global market-leading brands such as EFI, Esko, Massivit 3D, Mimaki, HP and Klieverik.

The premises, based in Shrewsbury, also facilitates production of the company’s popular Material Sample Binders, showcasing finishes achieved from multiple ink technologies including UV, solvent, latex and dye sublimation. Containing 50+ innovative application materials including laminate and adhesives, décor and design, speciality materials and soft image and textiles, the binders are being used as the ultimate reference tool by clients across a wide range of industries.

The supreme performance of groundbreaking materials such as PONGS Direct-Tex Softimage Contrast (Black Back Textile) and Illuminati have been reflected in sales growth as CMYUK notices a switch to more environmentally-friendly PVC-free solutions, within both retail and event sectors. While materials such as Squid self-adhesive fabric, designed for covering glass of any type, shape or size, are offering new innovation for aesthetic window screening with ergonomic values.
