Ralawise steps up to the challenge

Throughout the month of June, Ralawise has set its staff the challenge of stepping.

Each day, desk-based staff are encouraged to increase their step count during the working day – before they start work, when they take their lunch break or in the evening.

Sponsored by Just Cool by AWDis, the challenge came about to help office/ home-based staff walk their way to a happier and healthier self. Walking can have an incredible impact on both general and mental health; and Ralawise wanted to encourage staff to be more active and thereby reap the benefits. To encourage employees to build their step count each day, Ralawise has teamed up with Just Cool by AWDis to offer incentives to help staff keep stepping, with prizes available for the most steps walked each day, the most steps walked in total and for the best photograph taken while out on a walk.

Ralawise staff have loved taking part in this challenge. UK sales manager, Dawn Cleverley, said: “Since working from home, I have found my concentration has massively improved if I exercise before I start my working day.”

Encouraging words like these are the reason why Ralawise implemented the challenge, giving staff the boost to get outdoors to help clear their minds and refocus, enabling a more productive and positive working day.
