Print & Stitch Newcastle

On February 16, Print & Stitch visited Newcastle, where printers and embroiderers were able to see the latest innovations available in the industry.

Andrew Stocks from Stocks Embroidery & Sewing Solutions said: “People took advantage of the convenience roadshows present, and popped out of their businesses for a couple of hours to catch up with everything that is new in transfer print, screen print and embroidery industry.”

At the roadshow, Stocks Sewing Machines demonstrated its ZSK Sprint industrial embroidery machines capable of embroidering at 1,200 stitches per minute without comprising on superior stitch quality. Offering choice in terms of budget and performance, Stocks also displayed the Brother PR1050X and PR655 commercial embroidery machines; feature rich machines that are very popular with business start-ups.

Wilcom, the most popular embroidery digitising software in the UK, demonstrated its Embroidery Studio and DecoStudio products; offering a range of software options suitable for business start-ups and established embroidery companies looking for ways to be more creative and efficient.

Madeira embroidery threads were also on hand to show the versatility of the range both in terms of colour and thread types, visitors loved the Frosted Matt and Poly Neon polyester threads.

Also exhibiting was the ever-popular TheMagicTouch (GB), offering hands-on demonstrations of its transfer papers on a wide range of products and surfaces.

Screen printers appreciated the amazing innovation offered by Goccopro, a revolutionary digital screen print maker that can make a screen from artwork in less than five minutes.

eTrader develops website solutions specifically designed for printers and embroiderers. Print & Stitch visitors could see first-hand how professional their businesses could look online.

Golden Finishes also joined Print & Stitch in Newcastle, offering a selection of outsourcing services that include cutting, making and finishing.

Newcastle was a popular location with businesses based in the North East and Print & Stitch is sure to return.

The next Print & Stitch will take place in Leicester on March 23.
