Plans unveiled for the world’s first Global Summit for the Professional Clothing Industry Association

On Tuesday, June 18, 20 of the world’s industry experts will come together to impart their knowledge on the professional workwear, corporate clothing and associated industry sectors.

The PCIAW Global Summit provides the opportunity to be inspired, connect, and be involved, in all aspects shaping the professional clothing industry today. Attendees will be able to access specialists and experts at forum-style presentations and Q&A sessions throughout the day.

An outstanding array of speakers includes leading UK and international influencer Adam Mansell, CEO, UKFT, will bring the latest and most updated news from the government on how Brexit will be affecting our industry; Karen Sparrow, Spaceline apparel manager, Virgin Galactic, will share their out of this world vision of the future for astronaut, pilot and crew performance clothing; Chris Murray, VP Defense and Government Services Europe, Agility Logistics, will discuss complex global logistics in challenging environments.

Adam Mansell, CEO, UK Fashion and Textiles Association, said: “There are so many challenges affecting the industry as a whole, particularly post-Brexit, it is a great opportunity to reach so many businesses with such important topics.  It will be an interesting day for both the speakers and delegates.”

Other speakers will include César Araújo, president, ANIVEC, Steve Zalkin, president, NAUMD), Marie Leck, senior couturier, Vivienne Westwood, plus representatives from SATRA, Plimsoll, the British Standards Institute, (BSI), British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF), as well as opportunities to hear from uniform buyers within the public sector and major blue-chip companies.
