Alex Hammond joined The Cotton Textile Company in February to support the directors with their administrative needs.
Ms Hammond will be tasked with processing orders for sports, bar and beach towels, working with clients ranging from famous sports clubs and well known fashion labels through to popular food and drinks brands. The Cotton Textile Company produces towels and clothing with its partner factories in Europe and Turkey.
Ms Hammond recently returned to the UK with her husband and four children, after previously moving to Australia where she and her husband built and ran a successful web shop specialising in suppliers for hobbies and crafts.
Richard King, sales director, said: “Alex has proven to me that I should not be allowed near anything remotely administrative. With her fast pace of work, ability to multi-task and attention to detail we will now be able to grow the business quicker and more efficiently.”
On March 20, Ms Hammond will be running six miles for Sports Relief.
