GS UK’s longest serving employee Ged Levers sadly passed away on October 7

In other news, GS UK has announced the passing of Ged Levers, who lost his battle with cancer on October 7.

Mr Levers was GS UK’s longest serving team member having been with the company for more than 30 years. His most recent position was as the design centre production manager, but originally joined the company in charge of the draughting department where he was responsible for preparing artworks before they went through to the digitising department to be translated into stitches.

Caroline Jones, technical consultant at GS UK, who was a colleague of Mr Lever’s for more than 30 years, said: “We are all deeply saddened by the loss of Ged. He was a quiet man with a dry sense of humour, always approachable to discuss ideas and give advice. He will be greatly missed by everyone at GS UK.”
