In its 2018 collection, Karlowsky Fashion relies on the combination of functionality and style, in particular focusing on jeans and lightweight materials.
The days of heavy and uniform-style chef jackets are finally over. Under the motto ‘work meets Fashion’, Karlowsky presents items that blur the line between casual and casual wear. In addition to stylish chef jackets, ultra-light chef shirts have also been introduced. During product development, special emphasis was placed on lightweight materials that offer the wearer maximum freedom of movement. The Noah Chef Jacket, New Identity Chef Shirt and Modern Edge Chef Shirt are all lightweight, weighing only 150gsm and washable at 95°C.
Managing director, Thomas Karlowsky, said: “Chefs are artists who should be able to express their individual style in workwear.”
With the new jeans collection Karlowsky serves a good portion of fashion. The collection does not only include chef jackets but also bib aprons, bistro aprons, service loops and ties in the colours vintage blue and vintage black. In the premium segment, Karlowsky Fashion presents the DIAMOND CUT Avantgarde cooking jacket, a sporty yet luxurious model. Here timeless design with slim silhouette, stand-up collar and cuffs meets the finest pima cotton and functional details.
The gastronomy is sophisticated and hectic. In order to meet these special requirements, the functionality of clothing has top priority for Karlowsky Fashion. Whether washability at 95°C, extremely lightweight materials, snaps and zippers for quick donning and doffing or breast pockets that provide enough space for smart phones, pens and small kitchen utensils – every detail is to facilitate the wearer’s day to day work.
