New product added to sustainable range

The Salvage range from Continental Clothing salvages the cuttings from organic cotton textile production, shreds them and turns them back into soft cotton fibres. Next, Salvage adds fibres made from recycled plastic bottles to obtain the cotton and polyester blend. The blended fibres are spin into fine yarn to make fabrics.

The SA16 Women’s rolled sleeve recycled T shirt is the latest product to be added to the Salvage collection. It is available in sizes S-XL and in six colours.

It is made from 60% recycled pre-consumer cotton organically grown and 40% recycled post-consumer polyester.

All Salvage products are certified under the Global Recycled Standard and the Organic Content Standard by the Control Unions Certifications. As a member of the Fairwear Foundation, Salvage works towards improving working conditions in the textile industry.
