Light black is the latest colour ink to be added to Mimaki’s range of SB410 sublimation ink spot colours.

The light black is available from February. It joins the recently released neon yellow and pink fluorescent inks, which are ideal for low-volume, high-quality use in fashion and sportswear and swimwear. This addition will expand apparel production possibilities for users and will increase the versatility of the TS300P-1800 wide format printer; a dedicated dye sublimation inkjet printer for apparel and textile applications. The new light black inks will be available in two litre ink packs.

Stephen Woodall, national sales manager – textile and apparel at Hybrid Services, Mimaki’s UK and Irish distributor, said: “These new spot colours can add real value to fashion and sportswear.

“The new light black improves the already high print quality, enhancing photographic images and gradations even further. Alongside the fluorescent pink and yellow inks, users now really have the capability to create highly unique garments.

“The fluorescent samples we have produced on the Mimaki TS300P-1800 are spectacular, so we anticipate that combining this with the new light black will deliver even more eye-catching output.”
