Printwear & Promotion LIVE! is widely recognised as a key event in the calendar of any garment decoration professional, serving as an annual launch pad for new products and garment lines, an inspirational hub of knowledge and advice and an unmissable opportunity for companies to connect.
From Sunday, January 19 through to Tuesday, January 21, Halls 17 & 18 at the NEC, Birmingham will host around 150 of the sector’s leading companies. Visitors exploring the lively aisles will be able to see what’s new from returning show favourites and discover what’s on offer from a number of brand new exhibitors and companies returning after a period of absence.
Among those making their debut in 2020 is Customer Focus; a software and information solutions company providing services to the promo sector. Three industry experts will be on hand on stand G24 to share their knowledge and expertise, as well as live demonstrations of some of Customer Focus’ most up-to-date technology solutions.
Sales manager, Kathryn Stockton, comments on how visitors can benefit from stopping by their stand: “It’s all about providing everybody with an interest in promo, or those who would like to get involved in promo, a solution allowing them to source, quote and sell promo products successfully.
“With the rise in companies looking at promo as an add on to their core business, we think that we will be able to offer visitors a service that is not only needed but easy, professional and cost effective.”
Product Zone, one of the UK’s largest fully bespoke headwear suppliers, will also be looking to extend its reach in the garment decoration industry at the 2020 show. For visitors that are keen to source bespoke headwear stand P62 will be a key destination, with the company showcasing a vast array of products from baseball caps to various styles of knitted hats, with different embellishment techniques from flat embroidery to the latest high frequency finishes.
Company director Tony Marks notes that exhibiting at the show is the perfect way to explore a new market and meet new people: “Printwear & Promotion LIVE! is the industry’s main UK show with a huge range of exhibitors and attendees. We are impressed with the diversity of organisations and individuals attending and look forward to sharing our expertise.”
As a previous exhibitor with another company, Kevin Borrett has decided to use the show as the launch pad for his new venture – Insignia 16. The company specialises in embroidered, woven and thermal transfer printed patches and will be showcasing samples on stand P60, where visitors can also find out about the bespoke services and finishing options on offer.
Also among the debutants at the 2020 show are B1 Bespoke (A58), Master Grave (H72), SDL Group (H52) and new brands, Work-Guard and Safe-Guard (C20).
In addition to those making their first appearance at the event, a number of companies will be welcomed back into the Printwear & Promotion LIVE! fold after a period of absence including Atlantis – Master Italia (J50), Kingly (J3), P&P Clothing (A72), R.A. Smart (F52), Smartwear Solutions (A32), The Outdoors Company (F60), as well as Spall Sports and Banner.
Having last made an appearance in 2012, UK manufacturer Spall Sports will make its return on stand A52 to showcase its latest product range including part sublimation training wear, socks and full sublimated sportswear. The company aims to show potential customers the benefits of sublimation and how to minimise costs by replacing printing and embroidery, thus increasing their profit margin.
The exhibition will also be an opportunity for the company to showcase its most recent investment, a socks manufacturing unit, which allows for the production of bespoke socks in a quick lead time.
Commenting on Spall Sports’ return to the show, managing director Saj Khawaja says: “Meeting new and existing customers is one of the main incentives in taking part in exhibitions. P&P LIVE! will allow us to better understand the market and create new products, so it is beneficial to us and our customers.”
Four years has passed since Banner last took to the floor at Printwear & Promotion LIVE!, but in 2020 the company will be back to exhibit its new sportswear offering.
Banner’s brand portfolio consists of modern co-ordinated ranges that are not only ethically sourced but comfortable to wear, fit for purpose and technically advanced. With the company seeing exceptional growth on the sportswear side of their business, they feel that the show is a prime platform to promote their new collections to a wider printwear and promotion customer base.
On stand F64, visitors will be able to see and feel for themselves the company’s newly launched APTUS Essentials entry-level sportswear range as well as items from the APTUS Performance collection.
Howard Wilder, sales director, notes: “We are most looking forward to reacquainting ourselves with the visitors to P&P LIVE!.”
