Introducing the DTG Digital M Series

The M Series
The M Series

DTG Digital, supplied by Your Embroidery Services Ltd (YES Ltd) has been at the forefront of direct to garment printing for many years now.

The company has been responsible for further developing many of the techniques we now take for granted as well as for unique features such as WIMS (White Ink Management Systems) and iQ Interweave. The development of the M Series machines, means a range of machines that is still more than capable of handling the small order market this technique was developed for, but can also make that leap into bulk production.

The M Series machines are unique. They are not a redevelopment of an existing print engine such as those from OEM companies but rather a bespoke printer created for a specific purpose and, as such, directly answers the questions posed by this expanding market.

The latest edition, the M6, is capable of outstanding production figures that will even rival small carousel screen print machines. With a print area of 1,000x980mm this machine is capable of handling six platens per loading which, in itself, is quite a production feature but when you add in the dual CMYK system and the iQ Interweave, which allows low res printing, the productivity reaches levels that are simply not achievable by other similar style machines. These high figures though are not reached at the expense of the individuality that is the key element of direct to garment printing. The machine is still a digital printer and, as such, can print one garment for the same unit cost as 100 with each one being an individual print. When printing six shirts each one can be a different print so the production possibilities are endless. You don’t, of course, have to use this area only to print shirts. With such a large space you can seamlessly print large format products such as table linen, soft furnishings and banners demonstrating that the machine has even greater flexibility. The M6 is a true bridge machine that is just as at home printing a single T shirt as it is printing a bulk order of 600 shirts or 20 banners for the local sports group.

If, however, you don’t need this facility but simply want a smaller, more portable machine then there are smaller models such as the M2 and the M4. Still built to the same exacting standards as the M6 and still with the key features of WIMS, iQ Interweave and a unique print engine, they simply offer a more compact version.

Apart from the amazing M Series YES Ltd also supplies other DTG Digital models such as the Viper or V Series. These machines still use the unique conveyer feed system seen on the M range but are a smaller, more traditional, machines giving increased portability. Ideal if you are using the machine as part of a transient or mobile business.

DTG Digital is an innovative company and, as such, has not stopped at machine development. It is on the threshold of launching a new ink that will allow the user to print onto a variety of textiles including 100% polyester and mixed fibre products. Once this is combined with the flexibility of the M Series machines you will have a machine that can print large numbers of garments, no matter what they are made from, without changing inks.

DTG Digital and Your Embroidery Services Ltd are both companies that like to develop both product and market. They are individual companies that combine to make a great partnership and great machines.
