Honestly Made saves 2,359,515 bottles from landfill

The Recycled Eco Down Jacket is one of 11 products in the Honestly Made range

Regatta Professional has unveiled that since the launch of its Honestly Made range towards the end of 2019 that more than two million bottles have been saved from landfill.

Sustainability has been a major part of the Regatta group’s business plan for several years with business wide plans of reducing its impact of the earth by consolidating shipping containers, removing all PFCs from products and ensuring both its head office and warehouse have a ‘zero to landfill’ policy, among many other targets.

The Honestly Made range of clothing is sustainably sourced and will dramatically reduce the wearer’s impact on the environment. The recycled pieces are crafted from plastic bottles collected from recycling centres, which are then processed and spun into thread creating 100% recycled fabric which are also GRS certified.

Megan Pacey, Regatta Professional’s assistant marketing manager, said: “Since the launch in 2019 we have already saved 2,359,515 plastic bottles from landfill, which we are incredibly proud of. We’re reducing our environmental impact and helping wearers reduce theirs too.”

Honestly Made is truly sustainable and industry leading. In fact, Professional was the first company in the workwear industry to offer 100% recycled fabrics and insulation. It is also the first in the industry to have waterproof products made from entirely recycled fabrics. Not only that, the Honestly Made collection extends to women’s designs too, providing an all-inclusive collection.

Concentrating on sustainability hasn’t impacted style or performance. The sustainable clothing still delivers the same high-quality, on-trend designs that Regatta Professional is known for. But the work doesn’t stop there. Ms Pacey added: “We’re pushing on into 2021 with even more sustainable options for our Honestly Made range. When teamed with the brand’s commitment to moving all printed brochures online, reduced manufacture of product samples and more sustainable ways of working, we’re leading the way in the promotional and workwear industry.”

Honestly Made currently boasts 11 products, available in a variety of colourways and sizes.
