Inkjet dye sublimation printing allows you to print on to a vast range of fabrics and coated surfaces, including stretchy sports fabrics, heavy canvas, fire retardants and ultra-light voiles. You can also sublimate on to a range of coated hard surface materials such as wood, metal, plastics, glass and ceramics enabling a huge range of applications including flags, banners, sportswear, fashion clothing, interior decor and promotional items.
The Texart dye sublimation printers in the Roland range are the RT-640 and XT-640, 64in printers, both offering exceptionally sharp, vivid image quality and reliability.
Both models come with an automated take up system included in the price and the RT-640 offers a maximum print speed of 32.6sq m per hour, while the XT-640 will print at up to 63sq m per hour for high output.
A choice of dual CYMK or eight colours with CMYKLcLM + orange + violet are available with the inks provided in large capacity one litre clean hands ink pouches. The inks offer an extremely wide colour gamut too, enabling bold and vibrant printing with high contrast, subtle graduations and remarkable fine detail, with the new strong black ink giving depth and density for accurate and rich output. Roland’s proprietary ink switching system (in four colour configuration) allows for unattended continuous printing, it will automatically switch to the second ink pouch allowing you to change the empty one without stopping the printer.
