Headline sponsor announced for the PCIAW Summit & Awards

As a pioneer in hi-tech sustainable materials and owner of the first in-house circular economy offering, Meryl Fabrics is proud to launch its range of recyclable textiles as a headline sponsor of the Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide, PCIAW Summit & Awards 2022.

The 2022 PCIAW Summit & Awards will take place on October 11 and 12 at the Park Plaza London Riverbank. The networking event and exhibition connects industry professionals from around the world throughout the supply chain. With MerylFabrics innovating to solve the sustainability problem of textiles, the company will help to preside over one of the largest gatherings of global apparel executives and influencers and further industry collaboration.

Peter Clodd-Broom, co-founder and director of Meryl Fabrics, said: “Partnering with PCIAW made sense for Meryl as we focus on radically transforming the sustainability of professional clothing.

“Our fabrics are certified to eradicate microplastic pollution and water waste, while removing the need for chemicals and solvents, in a fully circular system.”

Yvette Ashby, founder and CEO of PCIAW, added: “PCIAW is the first member-led organisation to represent the global companies of the professional clothing industry.

“We encompass the entire supply chain from buyers, suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors and take pride in being the association that connects international partners for collaboration and education. I am proud to have Meryl Fabrics as a trusted member and as a headline sponsor of the PCIAW Summit & Awards 2022. Their innovation and dedication to the sustainable transformation of our industry are exactly what we need to see, and I am excited to support them on their mission for global growth.”

The PCIAW Summit 2022 will focus on the key issues of the day, with expert speakers sharing exclusive insights on solutions and opportunities in times of disrupted supply chains with a glimpse into the future of the technology-driven professional clothing industry. Across the two-day conference, leading players in the uniform, workwear and PPE markets will exhibit innovations, selecting garments to adorn this year’s newly added fashion show, bringing flair and excitement to an educational experience like no other. Following the Summit, the PCIAW Awards 2022, will celebrate success, progress, and rising stars in the industry with a champagne reception and three-course gala dinner.
