December 8 2016 is an historical day. It is the day of the official opening of the brand new, purpose designed head office of the Your Embroidery Services Ltd (YES Ltd) group. These new premises represent another big step in the development of this ever growing company and demonstrates that they are prepared to reinvest in the business thus bringing continued success for YES Ltd and ever-growing support for its expanding client-base.

Although very adept at making things fit it started to get a little cramped in the previous premises so something had to give. The process of finding the right place was not an easy task though. Many buildings were looked at with some of them being new-builds but nothing fitted the remit given by the directors of the company.

Roy Burton, managing director of YES Ltd, said “We looked at so many buildings that we were beginning to think that we would never find anywhere and then we saw Sovereign House. Although it was nothing like you will see it now, we immediately knew that this was the building for us. However, we also knew that it would not happen overnight and there had to be lots of changes. The alterations though, we knew, would give us the perfect tailor-made building for our business with everything having a place. We are so pleased with the outcome and the fact that everyone connected with the company – directors, staff and customers – have a comfortable and efficient environment to work in.”

Each section of the business now has its own home within the building. Although some areas cross over every effort has been made to ensure that the working environment fits the remit of the product or industry. Embroidery, direct to garment printing and the more recent label printing and finishing have dedicated areas and dedicated staff allowing each one to offer the maximum support to their customers. The move has also created space needed to bring the European arm of the company under the same roof. Impression Technology Europe was previously housed in a separate building which, logistically, was not ideal. Sovereign House has enabled everything to come together, increasing efficiency and communication which not only benefits the company but also its customers.

December 8 truly is a special day for YES Ltd but also for the customers it serves. As Mr Burton continued: “This is as much for our customers as for ourselves. As always we want to give our clients the best experience and support we can and we firmly believe that this investment will achieve just that.”
