Fruit of the Loom’s Unique Hoodie is proving popular with schools.

Launched last spring, the Unique Hoodie’s popularity continues to grow, even in some unlikely sectors. While it couldn’t be classed as traditional uniform, it has caught the eye of after school groups such as dance troupes, drama clubs and sports teams.

Kirsty Button, marketing manager, said: “For garment decorators the Unique Hoodie represents a real opportunity to expand their business with existing customers and to engage with new ones. As the Hoodies are available in kids’

and adults’ sizes, they can be used creatively from primary school right through to college and university.”

This innovative Hooded Sweat has been making a real impact at 2014 trade shows across Europe too, with many visitors intrigued by the concept.

Fruit of the Loom own the exclusive license for the Unique Hoodie product design which is specially styled to enable printing on the back of the hood.

Wearers can use their imagination to print characters, animals, skeletons or any design they can think of the wackier the better.

Kirsty added: “The response has been phenomenal, with customers really able to see its potential. The revolutionary design has real appeal for young people, who are always on the look-out for something different that makes them stand out from the crowd.”

Kids and teenagers feature heavily in Fruit of the Loom’s new YouTube video.

Produced in association with TheMagicTouch, it gives garment decorators a step-by-step guide to printing on the Unique Hoodie.  It can be viewed at www.youtube.com/fruitoftheloomeurope

The Unique Hoodie (280gm/m²) is available in adults sizes S-XXL and kids sizes 5-6 years 14-15 years. It is also available as a Unique Hoodie Jacket (280gm/m²) in adults sizes S-XXL.
