Fashion and sustainability experts sign up for frank debate at ASBCI conference

Chief fashion writer for The Sunday Times, journalist and author Colin McDowell will be joined on stage at the ASBCI’s sustainability conference Time for Change by environmental, social, and governance expert Michael Spenley.

In a departure from a traditional presentation format, Mr McDowell will answer questions posed by Mr Spenley about how the fashion industry can and must commit to advancing the sustainability agenda.

Building on this theme, other speakers on the day will include Paul Smith from online fashion retailer Missguided, Andrew Morgan from Coats and Carly Bilsbrough, global responsible sourcing manager from Shop Direct.

These speakers complete an impressive line-up that already includes UL, GreenEarth, Alvanon, M&S, Shirley Technologies, Eurofins | BLC Leather Technology, Recyclatex, and University of Leeds.

The conference will take place at the Renaissance Manchester City Centre Hotel on Wednesday, May 8.
