Xpres offers a wide range of print solutions and media to suit all applications and budgets.
These include a range of solvent and eco solvent media in varying finishes and widths that can be printed on machines such as the Roland VersaCAMM series and Mimaki CJV.
Direct to garment technology has become an increasingly popular method of garment decoration and Xpres has partnered with Epson in offering the superb SC-F2000.
This machine can print a T shirt in just 27 seconds and features Epson’s MicroPiezo TFP printhead, with a resolution of up to 1440x1440dpi for accurate dot shape and placement. Its wide colour gamut produces vibrant colours and smooth gradations and the printed area on fabric is soft, making T shirts comfortable and hard wearing.
The UltraChrome DG Ink used with this machine has been specifically developed to jet through the very latest Precision Core Epson printhead technology. The SC-F2000 is the only direct to garment printer available with these industry leading heads and supersedes much of the print head technology used by its main rivals. This ink is also Oeko-Tex certified which makes it safe to print on all clothing and is very reassuring for garment decorators using this technology.
The machine is supplied with Garment Creator software which is very intuitive and really helps to simplify production. It’s compatible for both Mac and Windows operating systems.
In addition, the SC-F2000 comes with a wide range of quick-change platen accessories including a special sleeve platen to make decoration even easier.
To complete the package, Xpres also offers an advanced range of DTG specific heat presses and pre-treatment machines from Sefa.
A further option for printing textiles is provided by wide format sublimation technology which is particularly effective for the decoration of performance sportswear and fashion apparel.
Developed specifically for dye sublimation, the new Roland Texart RT-640 provides superb quality, vivid colour and highly stable performance.
The RT-640 has a production quality print speed of 22.0sq m/h and a maximum speed of 32.6sq m/h. A newly designed media feed adjuster at the front and rear provides even tensioning and prevents media skewing. The results are a precisely wound roll on the take-up reel to deliver consistent feed tension when the media is passed through the calendar press.
In addition, the Texart CS-64 Calendar Press is the perfect finishing partner for the RT-640.
Built to meet the production demands of the busiest textile printing business and designed for ultimate ease of use, the Texart CS-64 will appeal to both seasoned professionals and companies new to the dye sublimation process. The CS-64 will transfer large-scale sublimation prints produced by the RT-640 at high speed onto a variety of polyester-based materials.
