David Luke achieves SCS Accreditation

David Luke has achieved SCS Accreditation

David Luke has become the first schoolwear brand to achieve SCS Accreditation.

Last year, armed with the confidence of its eco-credentials, David Luke embarked on the process of becoming SCS Accredited.

Becoming SCS Accredited demonstrates that David Luke has achieved the highest environmental, social, and quality standards for its products. SCS certification is to prove that the polyester David Luke use in its eco-uniform products comes from post-consumer waste, this means it is certified as being between 30% – 100% post-consumer waste. David Luke can now proudly incorporate the globally recognised SCS Kingfisher Certification Mark across all marketing materials and customer facing resources.

David Luke was the first schoolwear business within the industry to introduce recycled polyester to its product portfolio, launching its eco-blazer in 2010 and now it is the only schoolwear brand that can claim it has achieved SCS Accreditation.
