On September 26 BTC activewear hosted a Day of Cakes for Macmillan cancer support as part of the Macmillan nationwide coffee morning event. The day of cakes was hosted at the company’s head office in Wednesbury, with bakers from all departments coming together to offer a great array of sweet and savory treats throughout the day.

A fantastic £1,000 was raised through a combination of cake sales, printed shopper bags and a T shirt promotion with Fruit of the Loom.

A cheque was presented to Eloise Davidson, Macmillan fundraising manager for Birmingham and the Black Country by Katie Wright, assistant marketing manager for BTC activewear. On receiving the cheque Ms Davidson commented: “On behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support I would like to say a huge thank you to BTC activewear for their fantastic support of our World’s Biggest Coffee Morning event 2014, I was so impressed by the effort that they made in organising their event. Thanks to their support we can now continue to help the countless number of people who are affected by cancer and provide support when they need it most.”
