In its 20th year of trading Your Embroidery Services Ltd (YES Ltd) is set to launch three major new products aimed at expanding the business base of all garment decorators.
New supplier for embroidery machines
Embroidery has always been a key feature of the YES Ltd catalogue. That was the original concept of the company and hence the name.
Being at the forefront of developments has meant that it has been closely involved with many innovations that have changed the face of embroidery – the dual function machine for instance from SWF.
In these days of increasing costs and reducing profits the company decided that the industry needed a more varied choice of capital equipment so that the possible financial return could be more closely matched to the capital outlay. At the same time though it was imperative that the high quality, for which YES Ltd is known, was not compromised.
The agreement that YES Ltd has established with the manufacturer Ricoma is the solution to this problem. After extensive meetings and discussions it has been agreed that YES Ltd will have exclusive rights to supply Ricoma machines to the UK and Ireland. For those of you who do not know, Ricoma is the biggest and best known embroidery machine manufacturer in China and has been at the forefront of developing products that fit the quality conscious global markets.
Built to the high standards demanded by YES Ltd this new range of machines will initially be aimed at the smaller machine user although, in time, a full range of models will be available. The ambition and ability of Ricoma combined with the expertise and experience of YES Ltd will give the market a new a dynamic range of machines ready to take on the challenges of today’s market.
YES Ltd announces an express to bulk production
DTG Digital is the best known name in direct to garment printing machines across the world but this success has not affected the company’s ability to listen. Customers that initially supplied the small order market have been talking for a while about the ability to compete in larger markets but this style of printing simply did not lend itself to that – until now that is!
DTG Digital for 2015 will be introducing a new machine called T-Train, a revolutionary system that is capable of printing 180+ black T shirts per hour. The T-Train will consist of a platen loader, a very special DTG Digital printer and a platen unloader and will print garments on a continuous basis hence the high production figures. The printer itself has been modified to deliver an incredible 16 channels of variable ink drop sizes across all resolutions and the firmware used allows high quality printing even at 720dpi x 720dpi or lower. A key new element of the T-Train though is the ability to recognise the fabric colour and eliminate it from the print. For instance when printing on a yellow T shirt the software will eliminate the yellow sections of the print using the colour of the fabric instead. This not only speeds the process up but also results in massive savings in ink usage.
If you are turning bulk orders away then it is time to climb on board the T-Train
New income stream for T shirt printers
The final part of the trio is the new Compress UV printer. This machine prints, using UV inks, onto hard surface products thus opening up the lucrative promo market. It is a machine that will sit comfortably with DTG Digital users giving them the option to offer a fuller range of promotional products as well as T shirts.
As has happened so often in the past YES Ltd have once again found different machines that compliment what their customers already do. By adding these models and processes into the mix they are offering their clients an extra income stream which, in these competitive days, is something many businesses are looking for. As you would expect from a company built on service and support all of these products will have the same high quality technical back-up that comes as standard when dealing with YES Ltd.
