Dalesway Print Technology offers an excellent range of European manufactured screen printing consumables from Prodecran. Prodecran’s excellent range of emulsions came highly recommended and have proven to exceed expectations during testing. The initial range offered to the UK market includes a fast exposing pure photopolymer, Procol Exp CEP, which offers high solids content at 47%. This superb emulsion is solvent and water resistant and is capable of very good levels of detail. Two dual cure emulsions are also on offer: Procol Plus is an excellent everyday workhorse offering high viscosity with 36% solids content, very good resolution capabilities and excellent resistance to both solvent and water based inks. Procol XLS is the premium emulsion with 50% solids content, capable of holding the very finest detail and resistant to both solvent and water-based inks.
The Prodecran range also includes a water-based pallet adhesive. Dalesway says: “We genuinely believe it is in the best interest of our customers to use this environmentally and human friendly product in lieu of spray adhesives whenever possible.”
Dalesway also offers pallet masking tape alongside this product to make clean-up quick and easy. Other time saving products include a range of tapes such as blue blockout tape and PMI split liner tape. The range is rounded out by a choice of emulsion removers – ready mixed, gel and powder that can be diluted as needed, saving space and money in the long run.
If you are looking for a safe and easy-to-use range of inks, the Lancer range of heavy metal and phthalate-free Excalibur inks as well as PVC-free Evolution inks are probably the safest in the industry. The Evolution range is particularly important to companies that have to meet stringent safety requirements since the range meet Oeko-Tex 100 standards and are Nike RSL approved. An added bonus is that although it is PVC-free, it offers the ease of use of plastisol-style inks.
