Zünd UK to inspire visitors at Open Day event

On November 14 and 15, Zünd UK will be hosting an Open Day at its demonstration suite in St Albans to showcase the huge variety of options and applications that the company offers.

Hosted by Zünd UK’s new managing director, Nicki Kay, the event will enable visitors to discover more about how the flexible range of Zünd cutting systems can benefit their businesses. All Zünd digital cutting systems are based on a modular design to ensure each user has the perfect configuration to meet their needs – both upon installation and in the future, with upgrades, changes to modules and new tool installations possible at any time.

With Zünd’s G3, S3 and D3 precision cutting machines all in action showcasing multiple applications including signage, roll graphics, packaging, leather cutting and composite manufacturing, the event offers current and potential customers a great opportunity to get up close and personal with Zünd’s impressive cutting portfolio. Experts will be on hand throughout the two-day event to explain and demonstrate the very latest developments and technology.

Zünd will be showcasing two G3 models at the event: an L-3200 with a working area of 1.8×3.2m; and a 3XL3200 with a working area of 3.2×3.2m. These will be showing the latest technology including inkjet printing and Zünd’s revolutionary Over Cutter Camera (OCC).

There will also be a smaller format S3 L-1200 machine – with a working area of 1.8×1.2m – which will be using robotic arms to automatically load and unload jobs onto the table to minimise operator intervention. Finally, there will be a D3 L-3200 machine showcasing its dual-beam capabilities on packaging and leather applications.

Ms Kay said: “The Open Day event will give our customers the chance to see the full capabilities of our cutters and the breadth of applications they handle.

Zünd UK will be welcoming visitors between 9am and 5pm on November 14 and 15, with snacks being served throughout the day.
