YES Ltd commissions new building

Sovereign House ImageNottinghamshire-based business Your Embroidery Services Ltd (YES Ltd) has recently moved into new industrial premises due to the on-going expansion of its business.

This represents an important investment for the specialist print and embroidery machinery distributor and has given the company a 16,738sq ft purpose-built facility at Sovereign Way, Mansfield. As a prominent UK supplier of industrial embroidery machines and digital printing equipment for the UK textile industry it was in need of a facility that suited the expansion it had seen over the past few years. The company also manufactures label printing and finishing equipment that is exported globally through its international subsidiary Impression Technology Europe (ITE) together with its digital T shirt printing machines and, here again, extra space was needed. Apart from creating a more comfortable and efficient environment for the current staff the move will also create up to five new jobs.

Roy Burton, managing director, said: “We are proud that these new premises will be bringing manufacturing back into this part of Mansfield. Already we are looking to recruit new members into the team.

“We base our success on the achievements of our global customers and having good quality premises, that allows for our continued growth, is an important factor. From this new purpose built facility we will offer customer support, technical assistance, full demonstration facilities and, of course, machine manufacturing to export to all potential and existing clients.”

YES Ltd was founded in 1995 and was based at the Boughton Industrial Estate in North Nottinghamshire. The company originally started as a consultancy to the embroidery industry offering a service to find the right machine for the right job at the right price, thus satisfying customer requirements. The business has since experienced sustained growth and has progressed into hardware, software and consumable products to the textile decoration industry. With the subsequent addition in 2004 of Impression Technology Europe it is now one of the largest value-added distributors and manufacturers in the UK. Year on year the company has steadily grown and continually expanded its range of services and products. With this growth though came increased demand on space and the company gradually spread out over a number of units on the Boughton trading estate where it originally started. Even though this put extra strain on the company’s ability to satisfy customer demands it was never allowed to adversely affect the service offered.

Mr Burton added: “All of us at YES Ltd work to the same customer standards and are proud to do so. Working in an ever expanding company where space was becoming a treasured commodity could have easily upset the equilibrium but we never allowed that to happen. The customer always has and always will come first.”

This move has, for the first time, brought all the departments together under one roof resulting in an even better customer experience as well as providing an improved working environment for all the staff. The geographical position is also a consideration with the location providing convenient access to the A38 and M1 making it easy for clients to visit.

The move to Sovereign House was a big step for the company to take involving much investment and commitment but it is already showing that it was the right thing to do. The service and support section are benefitting from the latest in IT and communication and are thus giving an improved service to their customer base.

If you are a YES Ltd or ITE customer you, as well as they, will reap the benefits of this investment. If you are yet to become a client then why not pay them a visit and see for yourself the level of commitment this move demonstrates.
