“Direct to garment printing that is easy to use, low maintenance, fast to print, and produces really stand out colour quality is what the market demands and what Epson offers,” says Heather Kendle, market development manager for Epson Europe. “It can be used as a service within printshops or taken out to events like a school sports day or a retail event. It meets that need for an individual, group or team look.”
The latest model launched last year is the SureColor SC-F2100 and it prints onto a range of cotton-based products including T shirts, polo shirts, bibs, bags and aprons. It is fast and slick and print settings and software presets make it easier than ever to use and to achieve great results.
Printer settings offer an improved mode which creates a second white layer overprint with the CMYK. With no time increase and smaller dot placement there is sharper output of photographic images.
The latest Garment Creator software makes creating and applying designs really easy. Multiple images can be uploaded and predefined settings can be applied to give the desired output. Text can be added locally with a choice of font, colour, size, position and angle adjustments.
The SC-F2100 includes the printer, printhead, ink, software and warranty, meaning the user can be assured that all parts have been designed and extensively tested to work together for optimum results. Both the UltraChrome DG inks and pretreatment liquid hold Oeko-Tex Eco Passport certification, meaning they are sustainable and safe to use.
