This year was the 10th instalment of TV TecStyle Visions, which was held from February 15 to 17 at Messe Stuttgart.
This year 270 exhibitors, 126 from abroad (2016: 256/101), presented their product innovations and new products in the areas of textile printing, embroidery, flock and laser technologies.
Of the visitors that attended 20% were international and came from 41 different countries (2016: 15%/ 36). The majority of visitors travelled from Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Great Britain and Belgium.
In terms of the visitors’ main areas of interest, in 2018, transfer printing (49%), embroidery (48%), and textiles and printing substrates (42%) were in the lead, followed by textile silk-screen printing and digital textile printing (40% and 38% respectively).
About one in three visitors stated that they were focused exclusively on obtaining information at TV TecStyle Visions and do not visit any other trade fairs worldwide.
The results from the survey underline the unique selling point of TV TecStyle Visions. 79% of visitors stated they would come back to attend TV 2020 and 87% would recommend the trade fair to others.
The quality of the trade visitors was also extremely positive: 93% (2016: 89%) of visitors are involved in purchasing and acquisitions for their company. 87% of decision-makers states that they will make investments, 94% of those within the next 12 months.
The comprehensive events program at TV TecStyle Visions was a huge success once again. The daily fashion shows, the technical special show, this time about ‘screen printing on functional materials’, the TVP Infopoint fair●eco●bio, the TV specialist forum and the presentation of the Golden Shirt award attracted interest from numerous visitors.
The next fair will take place from January 30 to February 1, 2020 in Stuttgart.
