Westbury-based T Shirt & Sons has taken delivery of the first Kornit Vulcan system to be sold into Europe.

Kornit’s Vulcan is the most cost-effective digital printing platform for short to medium print runs. It reaffirms T Shirt & Son’s position as the leader of direct to garment printing and fulfilment in Europe.

T Shirt & Sons already has a fleet of 16 Kornit Avalanche systems; this new purchase significantly increases production capacity.

Digital printing is changing the way the industry buys printed T shirts. Digital printing enables brands to produce short runs of printed garments, without the costly set-ups and lead times associated with screen print. In an age where manufacturers are looking at ways to reduce stock exposure, the Kornit Vulcan ticks all the boxes. Now there is no need any more to produce expensive screens, and sampling is just at the press of a button.

The Kornit Vulcan has been developed specifically for mass production, with high definition print; it utilises the new NeoPigment Rapid ink system with increased colour gamut and exceptional soft hand feel.
