Wouldn’t it be great if you could have a direct to garment printer which could print directly onto mixed fibre shirts as well as 100% cotton? Well, you can! The new DTG Digital M Series machines fuelled with the new Pigment ink will do just that.
Direct to garment printing has changed drastically in the last few years with much of that development coming from DTG Digital, but the thing that seemed to evade the techies was the ability to print onto cotton and mixed fibre using the same machine and ink. Not easily defeated the developers at DTG Digital and Your Embroidery Services Ltd (YES Ltd) simply moved up a gear and, working closely with ink manufacturers, eventually made the breakthrough that will give users of DTG Digital machines a big advantage. Where most others will have to, either invest in two machines to achieve what the M series can or become involved in complete time consuming ink changes, M series users will only have to concern themselves with changing the shirt on the platen. Apart from the obvious production advantage this also increases the printable product range allowing users to offer a wider variety of goods. With full stocks expected shortly this is yet another example of how DTG Digital and YES Ltd, working together, are continually driving the industry forward.
Not only have they broke this particular barrier they have also added another machine to the M range, the M6, which has a print area of, up to, 2 meters allowing large format printing or multiple items (e.g. 6 t-shirts at once). The M series is the DTG Digital range that operates as machines that bridge the gap between the small and bulk order markets. With the M2 and the M4 having already established themselves as machines that deliver big output for a relatively low investment the M6 now completes the range. As a machine that can truly compete in the bulk order market it has impressive production figures that may look more at home in screen print. In fact screen printers may find this machine will fit ideally into their work flow giving them the ability of bulk production and the convenience of individual production – bulk production in units of one.
