TheMagicTouch introduces new Ricoh Ri 100 to the market

Ricoh Ri 100

TheMagicTouch has announced that it will be introducing the new Ricoh Ri 100, which looks set to invigorate the DTG printing market with its space saving design.

The Ricoh Ri 100 prints images directly onto fabrics using state-of-the-art DTG technology.

This innovative printer can fit into a space as small as 399x698mm, making it one of the smallest DTG printers ever. The printer comes with an optional heat press finisher, which provides heat cure treatment for longer-lasting and professional-looking prints. The printer and its finisher can be stacked to maximise functionality without sacrificing space.

Users can print one-of-a-kind personalised T shirts, bags, cushions, sweatshirts, aprons and more for customers.

Graham Kennedy, head of commercial Inkjet Business, Commercial and Industrial Printing Group, Ricoh Europe, said: “We are delighted to build on the success of the Ri 3000 and Ri 6000 with this compact entry level option. Its affordability and ease of use will attract a new audience to garment decoration and allow operations to expand their range of services fully supported by the highly knowledgeable and responsive Ricoh team. It has never been easier to start direct to garment printing with a complete solution from one vendor.”

Ricoh Design Software lets users import and edit images before printing, with no specialised knowledge or skills required.

Achieve high quality prints thanks to Ricoh’s inkjet technology. Preserve the look and feel of natural fabrics and colourfast prints with DTG print using textile inks.

The DTG printer is already impressing experts as it was recently named a CES 2018 Innovation Awards Honoree.

The Ricoh Ri 100 will be available from April, but interested parties can see it in action on TheMagicTouch stand at Printwear & Promotion LIVE!
