From pencils to pillow cases, Resolute’s got it covered with the 1800z multi-function UV printer and the high-end Ricoh Ri 3000 and Ri 6000 DTG printers.
With its specially designed flexible UV inks the 1800z flatbed printer can handle most substrates, hard or flexible up to 310x600mm and a whopping 375mm product depth.
Utilising flexible white ink and a clear primer/varnish the 1800z not only decorates complex made up garments like leather jackets, high viz workwear and wrist bands, it can also produce ADA compliant digital braille signage. Producing braille signs digitally has massive advantages over conventional methods. Thinner substrates can be used, and images can be printed over the top of the clear braille making the design an eye catching part of the sign and not the beads. The 1800z can also print cylindrical products like water bottles, wine bottles and many other shapes including conical champagne glasses. This can be in a simple flat print mode or utilise the tactile and textured in-line print modes exclusive to this UV system
When it comes to decorating garments with water-based inks the Ricoh Ri 3000 and Ri 6000 take over.
These high end DTG printers use a high viscosity water-based ink allowing for a very thin layer of ink to be used on dark and light garments. This reduces print costs and produces a very soft hand even on dark garments when using white ink. The speed is made possible by using Ricoh’s stainless steel piezo print head technology. Ricoh’s figures quote the Ri 6000 can produce an A3 image on a T shirt in only 27 seconds. Automatic white ink circulation, closed cartridge ink system, on board touch screen job processing are just a few of the many features both models have as standard.
