Tactical Threads announced as official sponsor of Warrington Wolves

Regatta Professional’s new workwear brand Tactical Threads has been announced as the official sponsor of Warrington Wolves Rugby League Club.

Tactical Threads bridges the gap between style and performance, with a clothing range that will take you from the builders’ yard to the bar. This stylish edge to the workwear range is taking the workwear industry by storm, so much so, that Warrington Wolves signed to be the official sponsor of the brand.

The two brands are a perfect fit for each other; Tactical Threads is made for manual workers in tough environments, and physical activity is at the heart of Warrington Wolves. As well as the physical aspect to both brands, there are definite parallels in the tactical thinking that the Wolves must apply to their training and gameplans and the design process and ethos of Tactical Threads. Tactical Threads has hit the ground running since its launch, and Warrington Wolves rugby club have had a fantastic season, so this partnership couldn’t come at a better time for both brands.

Tactical Threads offers a wide range of kit including jackets, hoodies, safety boots and more. Having launched the partnership in July 2018, Warrington Wolves have been actively supporting Tactical Threads, advertising the stylish and practical clothing and footwear on screens in the stadium, in match day programmes and as well as on their social media outlets with a significant amount of followers.

Backed by the Regatta brand, Professional brings years of industry knowledge and experience. Since its launch it has seen continuous development within its eight ranges: Professional, Xpro, Hardwear, Standout, Classics, Activewear, Originals and now Tactical Threads providing the complete clothing collection. Regatta Professional has formed a brand that businesses can depend on for the latest in innovative workwear, and Trade customers have not been disappointed with the innovation of Tactical Threads. The ‘site to street’ aspect has had a hugely positive response in the industry, as well as the materials used and the breadth of range. As well as jackets, work trousers and boots, the on-trend workwear brand brings you a fantastic range of safety-led hi-vis wear. The versatile range of hi-vis products is perfect for all seasons, with fleeces, jackets, T shirts and trousers providing the full kit.

As Regatta Professional’s first official partnership, the reaction so far has been great – not just from customers, but from within Professional’s HO department. The sponsorship is a real first for Tactical Threads and Regatta Professional as a whole, and with many of the Regatta Professional team already fans of Warrington Wolves rugby club there is a great deal of excitement surrounding the future of the sponsorship. The partnership shows just how much potential the brand has and how well it has been received.

As well as a fantastic sponsorship deal, Captain of the team, Chris Hill agreed to become the official ambassador of Tactical Threads. Chris has been enthusiastic in endorsing the brand through his social media following and by partaking in a promotional video.

Megan Pacey, assistant marketing manager of Regatta Professional said: “We’re thrilled to have Chris Hill as official ambassador. The enthusiasm he brings to the rugby field is reflected in the work he delivers for Tactical Threads, which is so important to us.

“Warrington Wolves rugby club is based in a historic industrial town and many of the club’s supporters have devoted their working life to the trade industry. The link to the Tactical Threads’ target audience and the mutual respect for both industries will prove invaluable during the coming months with open conversations and feedback. We’re so excited for the future of this collaboration. These really are unprecedented times for Regatta Professional.”

Not only that, Chris also owns his own plumbing company, Premier Plumbing, and is actively able to utilise the products within his work. Not only has this been a perfect way to showcase the sponsorship, Chris is able to provide Regatta Professional with genuine feedback from workers who wear Tactical Threads day in, day out. This feedback, as well as feedback from Tactical Threads’ large client base, will enable Regatta Professional to develop products further and give the brand a strong start to 2019.
