Schoolwear Association appoints new PR agency

The Schoolwear Association has appointed digital PR agency Tank to help raise awareness of the organisation and to promote the benefits of school specific uniform to schools, students and parents in the UK media.

As part of its growth strategy, the Schoolwear Association has recruited Tank to boost the communication of its work in regional and national press, as well as industry trade media and directly to schools themselves.

Chairman of the Schoolwear Association, David Burgess, said: “The role of school specific uniform is as important as it ever has been, our members provide high quality, cost-effective garments to schools and parents, while delivering a sense of belonging and pride to pupils. It’s essential that our industry continues to have a strong collective voice within the public agenda. Maintaining close links between schools and member suppliers, driving up standards, and helping to ensure all children have a quality uniform is our focus.

“Tank has proven itself as a leader within the education sector and its ability to deliver positive campaigns for clients within national press is impressive. We’re excited to work with the team to continue the momentum of our member network, with new campaigns set to launch throughout 2018.”
