Roq introduces the CTS Ink

CTS Ink

The new CTS Ink from Roq is a specialised digital printer, designed to print screens for the screen printing process.

This machine was heavily research by Roq and as a result the end product is flawless. The Ricoh Gen5 print head was chosen with the goal of creating the highest quality product possible. The 7 Picoliter drop size is one of the machines advantages and features industrial robustness, reliability and quality.

The Roq CTS Ink interprets the drawings in the most current file formats using the Roq Studio powered by NeoStampa. The resolution that will be most commonly used is 1270×1200 however the machine has the capability to boost its resolution up to an impressive 1270×2400. It uses a Roq ink specific for it. It is an ink with high optical density especially when it comes to UV light. This will allows that for the screens to be of a higher quality.

In its platform you can print at the same time two screens of 700×1100mm or one screen with the maximum size of 900×1420mm giving users all the needed versatility.

It does not require special  emulsions or mesh as it compatible with those currently available on the market. The Roq CTS Ink is able to print a screen (A4 size image) at 1270×1200 in a minute. The print is done on an emulsionated screen and afterwards users will have to expose the screen. By saving the positive film and all the associated costs of the traditional process a medium size workshop will see ROI between one and two years.

One final advantage is that screen printers will save hours not having to setup screens.
