With four months to go and already, 90% of the stand space sold (having increased the floorspace twice), Printwear & Promotion LIVE 2013 promises to be our biggest and best show in many a year. And, you are guaranteed to see the biggest names in the industry alongside some new and exciting names and technology.
Printwear & Promotion LIVE just gets bigger and better every year! And the great news for 2013 is that all of the big brands are back in the show. Regatta – our fashion show sponsor – returns with a stand, after a few years’ absence, showcasing its new Regatta Hardwear range, alongside Regatta Professional and Dare 2b, and there will be a host of other big name stands to visit.
Sales manager, Tony Gardner, is delighted with the overwhelming backing that the industry has pledged to the 2013 show. “You could say that the brands are back with a bang!” he says.
Brands to look out for include the colourful Just Hoods, Just Sub and Just Cool by AWDis, all of the Henbury brands (Front Row, SF - Skinnifit, Tombo, Finden+Hales, Okarma, Larkwood and Mumbles), Russell, the Beechfield brands (Beechfield Headwear, BagBase, Quadra and Westford Mill), RESULT, SPIRO, Spalding, Fruit of the Loom, Ranks, Blue Max Banner, United Brands, Smartwares (Hanes), JHK Trader, Aces Trading, Tristar Leisure, Sportex, Keya, Balmoral Knitwear, FDM, Promo QC, Gazelle Sports, Sharon Lee, Headwear UK, International Insignia and more.
Continues Tony: “Virtually every aspect of promotional wear, headwear and accessories, is covered, from corporate and workwear, to leisure, sports and teamwear, schoolwear, outdoor wear, hospitality wear and more.”
The continued growth of Printwear & Promotion LIVE follows a successful 2012 show which saw a 500-plus increase in visitor numbers, a 33% increase in stand space and a total of 108 stands.
More exhibitors for 2013
For 2012, there will be some 120 stands. All of the major distributors will exhibiting in 2013 and based on current figures, we are expecting a further 10% increase in stand space.
It all adds up to a cracking experience for visitors with a 2013 show that will be 50% bigger than our 2011 show!
Among the new exhibitors are Fanshirt and Exceptio, and with the significant number of returning exhibitors, you are guaranteed to see plenty that’s new and fresh to the market.
Adds Tony Gardner: “The fact that 90% of the stands have already been sold is a ringing endorsement of the power of Printwear & Promotion. We have extended the floorspace twice to meet the demand!”
Our 24th Printwear & Promotion LIVE will have something for everyone. And if this year’s visitor numbers are anything to go by, we’re aiming for yet another record.
Continues Tony: “Visitor numbers this year were up by more than 500 on the previous year, at 4272, and more than 2,500 companies were represented.
“A key thing this year was that visitors were actually buying equipment AT the show and they have continued to invest in equipment since the show. That trend looks set to continue, with equipment suppliers – certainly amongst the direct to garment printing and embroidery equipment suppliers – all doing great business as a result of Printwear & Promotion LIVE.”
Continues Tony: “As a result, some of those suppliers are coming back with even bigger stands for 2013, an example of which is Midwest Machinery Ltd who have booked two stands to show an extended range of embroidery, direct to garment and laser cutting machines.”
All of the major embroidery suppliers will be at Printwear & Promotion Live, so if you intend to invest in embroidery equipment, it will be easy to check out what’s on offer, all under one roof. Another supplier to look out for is Barudan who will be displaying improved single and multihead machines.
The size of this year’s Printwear & Promotion LIVE and the scale of next year’s show, is a very positive sign that the printwear industry has come back with a bang, especially on the machinery supply side, adds Tony Gardner.
Schoolwear will figure prominently in 2013, with traditional suppliers such as Blue Max, Fruit of the Loom and Russell joined by new exhibitors, William Turner, David Luke and Graham Winterbottom.
The show promises all the popular ingredients that make for a great day out:

- Free expert advice on tap;
- An industry-leading seminar programme;
- A professionally choreographed fashion show;
