The Goodies d’Or New Product Area awards, which took place in February at CTCO, lets retailers and other visitors discover all the latest trends, as well as identify new products which deserve to win a Goodies d’Or award.

With 10 categories to choose from entrants were required to nominate up to three products from their new 2011 range. Show visitors then voted for their preferred product in each category, judging on criteria including design, value for money, innovative nature and communicative power.

Part of its newly launched Urban Outdoor range – a collection of stylish outerwear that also offers comfort and protection, Result entered its Urban R190X Dax Down Feel Gilet in the Corporate Attitude category, which looked specifically at professional wear.

Commenting on the award, Result managing director, David Sanders-Smith, said: “We are delighted to have won the Goodie d’Or. The award is particularly special as it was voted for by the visitors – our customers; it proves we are giving them what they really want.

 With approximately 100 exhibitors showcasing over 200 products, CTCO 2011 attracted over 5000 visitors across three days.
