Dickies now make personalisation easy
Published:  15 November, 2010

Dickies have introduced a new service which allows most of their products to be quickly personalised with full colour logos or almost any image or message without the need to pass on expensive set up costs required by other print techniques such as screen printing. Using the TheMagicTouch (C) system, full colour imaging can now be processed onto a wide range of textiles regardless of colour or composition and potential buyers of embellished workwear can more easily be provided with samples for evaluation before placing either small or large volume orders.

The system adds a new dimension to the personalisation of fabrics and garments, including those made of 100% cotton and regardless of colour, by using special image transfer paper which involves no cutting or weeding and delivers stunning imaging and durability for items that could not previously be produced cost effectively.
Judy Clay, corporate director for Williamson-Dickie Europe Limited says: "By adopting this system, we can be more versatile in offering our clients a rapid service in producing our most popular personalised corporate items for even better value for money whilst also being able to expand the choice of garments suitable for embellishment.”
In the UK and Ireland, 92% of businesses requiring some form of standard workwear employ less than 24 people. TheMagicTouch (C) system used by Dickies can be equally applied to tough, hard wearing coveralls, trousers and jackets as it can to such items as office shirts, polos, T shirts, sweat shirts or fleeces.
